COVID-19: Update 5
We are delighted to confirm that we will from the 8th June we will be able to begin to see patients at the practice again.
We have been working tirelessly since the government announced a week ago that we were allowed to reopen. Dentists had no prior warning before Boris’s speech so there has been a lot to get in place.
During our first phase of opening, we will be operating at a reduced capacity to allow for essential staff training, running of our new protocols. We will prioritise emergency care and work to see those patients that had a dental problem during the lockdown.
Please do not attend the practice without an appointment. All emergencies will still be telephone triaged by a dentist prior to an appointment being booked for the foreseeable future. This will allow us to check medical histories and ensure appropriate social distancing can be maintained within the building.
There will be a lot of changes in the movement of people within the building such as avoiding using the waiting rooms. However, do remember we are masters of cross infection control already and PPE such as gloves, masks and visors are standard kit for us so we know how to keep you safe.
More details will follow soon so keep an eye out for our updates.
