Like Jo, Chris qualified at Sheffield in the class of 2004, and moved straight to Northampton to work as a dentist, including some time at the local hospital. He joined East Park Dental as a partner back in 2013 and now acts as one of our principal dentists. Chris is always up for a challenge – personally as well as professionally – and as if to prove it, has stepped up from half marathons and ‘Tough Mudders’ to the London Marathon itself. When he takes off his running shoes, you’ll mostly find him with his beloved chocolate Labrador,Toby and the newest addition to the family, Paddington, the Golden Retriever. If you’re lucky you’ll see them peering through the window into Chris’s surgery from the garden.

After qualifying at Sheffield in 2004, Jo moved to Nottingham and began life in practice in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire. She joined the team here at East Park Dental four years later, and became a partner in 2011. Today, she’s got her hands full with all her patient commitments and her 2 young children Benjamin and Ella. If she's really lucky and finds a little time you’ll find her out on the water in a dinghy at Pitsford or Draycote Water – or perhaps even sailing bigger boats on the South Coast. And when Benjamin and Ella are a bit older she’ll maybe manage to venture back onto the pistes!

Gurvinder qualified from the University of Birmingham (BDS(Birm)) in 2017. After working for a year in Northampton General Hospital and 2 years in mixed NHS/private practices, he joined East Park Dental in 2021 and hasn’t looked back. Having grown up in Daventry he has a deep-rooted connection to Northamptonshire and wants to do all he can to look after his patients from the region.

Gurvinder’s passion is for providing the highest quality in all that he does, aiming to make treatment as comfortable and pain-free as possible. He has a particular interest in aesthetic restorative procedures, including smile design, invisible fillings, crowns and veneers. He is also qualified to provide Invisalign © treatment, making him fully equipped to bring out the most in your smile!

In his spare time Gurvinder enjoys playing sports and games with friends and family. Other hobbies include hiking, traveling, and watching movies.

Rakhee qualified from the Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ Dental Institute in 2012. Following graduation, Rakhee spent five years consolidating her skills in general practice. She quickly developed a passion for Endodontics (root canal treatments) which led her to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontic Practice at King's College London. Presently she provides general dentistry and endodontic treatment of complex cases on a referral basis. She strives to provide consistent, high-quality treatment in a pain-free environment.

Outside of dentistry, Rakhee enjoys cycling, swimming, yearly ski trips and spending time with her young family.

Viren graduated from Birmingham University and went on to gain a wide breadth of experience from working in general practice, carrying out research and post-graduate training in hospital dentistry.

Viren then went on to become a Specialist Periodontist and has a particular interest in treating nervous patients with advanced gum disease, cosmetic treatment for gum recession and regenerative periodontics.

Viren enjoys many sports but particularly playing football, running and climbing. He also loves astromony!

After graduating from the University of Leeds, Ria pursued her interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and minimally invasive techniques and has worked in a mix of NHS and private practices. She has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and gained membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at The Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
Ria takes the time to get to know her patients and to ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable. She particularly enjoys helping anxious or nervous patients.
Out of work, she enjoys going to the gym, rambling and to travel and explore.

Mahad graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2018. He went on to spend a year working at Community Dental Services in Bedfordshire, and followed this up by working in a busy Oral and Maxillofacial department at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. He has since been continuing to hone his skills working in general practice, and strives to provide a high level of care and service for his patients.

Mahad has a particular interest in Oral Surgery, and is in the process of completing a Postgraduate Diploma to consolidate his surgical skills.

In his spare time, Mahad enjoys spending quality time with his family, travelling, and is a big cricket fan.

Amy is one of our highly efficient hygienists - a wonderful addition to the talented team here at East Park Dental. She qualified at Leeds University with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy back in 2014 and since then has been working on the complete range of oral hygiene treatments, including periodontal and restorative treatment for both adults and children, as well carrying out treatment on children’s primary teeth. Amy loves to make use of our glorious local countryside, taking long walks with her faithful dog Jess.

Magda graduated as a dental hygienist in August 2022 from The University of Essex. She originally came from Poland and has been living in the UK since 2011.

She is highly passionate about preventing tooth decay and periodontal disease. Magda also finds great fulfillment in assisting patients with dental anxieties.

Moreover, she places significant emphasis on educating her patients about their oral health and developing personalized home care routines.

During her leisure time, Magda delights in activities such as gardening, reading books, cycling, and cherishing moments with her family and friends.

Alina’s journey into the dental world began in 2006. She graduated in 2011 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy N. Testemitanu in the Republic of Moldova and continued her dental education at the same university with 3 years of postgraduate studies in dentistry where she qualified as a general dentist.

After moving to the UK with her family, Alina registered as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2022 and joined our team in 2023.

She is extremely enthusiastic and delighted to empower her patients with knowledge regarding their oral hygiene at home along with their general wellbeing. Alina’s primary focus is on preventive oral hygiene advice and dental implants maintenance at home. She believes this is the key to long term oral health.

Alina’s priority is to comfort the nervous patient and make them feel at ease, as well as alleviating their fears of attending a Dental Hygienist or Therapist appointment.

In her spare time Alina enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and socialising with her friends.

Nicola joined the EPD team in 2019 and brings with her a wealth of dental experience, after starting her career as a dental nurse. She has gone on to gain additional qualifications in Radiography and Impression Taking, as well as a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.

Nicola is to be found most days ensuring the smooth running of the practice and is also available to talk you through any queries you may have.

In her spare time, Nicola enjoys playing volleyball and walking her Springer Spaniel. She is also a keen Leicester Tigers rugby fan - but we'll forgive her for that as she is from Leicester!

Tracey’s been with us on reception most mornings since 2015, working as part the team welcoming our patients and scheduling their treatment. She's a fully qualified dental nurse too, and has held the NEBDN qualification since 2011. Tracey is another of our keen bakers, and juggles cakes, scones and flans with bringing up her young family.

And no, unlike the other Tracey Chapman, she doesn’t have a fast car...

Northampton is our Michelle’s adopted home – she grew up on remote St Helena before moving to the UK in 2000, when she began serving as a dental nurse in the RAF.
Michelle went on to be a dental nurse trainer before joining us in 2009 and is now our Head nurse, overseeing the nursing team to ensure our high standards are maintained.

Elly has been a Dental Nurse since 2008 and she joined the practice in March 2016, working alongside Chris ever since.
In 2018 Elly gained a diploma in Dental Implants and enjoys assisting Chris with our implant treatments.
In her spare time Elly, her partner and daughter enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities ranging from camping, fishing, nature walks, swimming to indoor climbing and frequently visits her family in the Lake District. Elly also likes crafting with her young daughter and baking some sweet treats.

Dudley retired on 19th December 2017 and has begun retirement in style with a 3 month trip to Nice. He is much missed around the practice and promises us he misses us too (when he manages to spare us a thought in between the trips to Monaco or lunch in Italy!)

Dudley earned his dental stripes in London in the late 1960s, and settled in Leamington Spa where he ran a highly successful dental practice for many years (and started a family which includes daughter Jo, also a dentist here at East Park). Dudley took his expertise to Germany in 2006 and owned a practice there, too. Returning to the UK ten years later, he set up home not far from the waterside in lovely Hamble, Hampshire, where his passion in sailing. When he’s not doing his weekly 250 mile round trip to East Park Dental, he’s dreaming up new dental names for his boats. His current craft is called ‘Extract’... say no more.

Jim retired in May 2017. He is much missed by patients and staff alike but we wish him much happiness in his retirement.
