Changes to Out of Hours Emergency Cover
Dear Patient,
We are writing to inform you of upcoming changes to our out-of-hours emergency cover. From Friday 7th March 2025, the way you access urgent care outside our regular hours will be different.
What’s Changing?
- We have joined forces with other practices within the area that hold similar values to ours to create a group oncall system. Our emergency cover outside of regular practice hours will be provided by this group. This means that you may need to go to a different practice within the Northamptonshire region to access out-of-hours emergency care.
- All patients requiring emergency treatment outside normal hours will need to make payments at the time of service. All fees will be explained upfront.
What You Need to Do
- In case of an emergency, contact the practice as usual on 01604 638102.
- Be prepared to make a payment for treatment as required and please keep all invoices and receipts.
- If you are a member of our Practice Plan you have access to the Assistance Scheme and so you may be able to claim reimbursement for some of these costs via a claim form, subject to claim limits. Our reception team will be happy to help with this process.
