Time to say goodbye…
This summer, we announced a very fond farewell to dentists Jim Clarke and Dudley Stock, who are both retiring from the practice after many years. They’ll be sorely missed by us all… so next time you’re out on the fairway, look out for Jim (in the rough!). From the end of the year you’ll find Dudley just a bit further south, on the Cote d’Azur, then in the equally rough stuff – sailing in the Solent. We send all our love and luck to them both.
North-east born Gemma has degrees in both biomedical sciences and dental surgery. Following her move down here in 2015, she’s worked in private practice and undertaken extensive training in orthodontics. When she’s not in the surgery she loves to be out and about walking with her husband and son.
After qualifying from Birmingham University in 2007, Bhavin has dedicated himself to all aspects of cosmetic and general family dentistry. These days, he loves embracing new technology to provide the best care for his patients. Away from the dental chair, he loves football, travelling, cooking and having tea parties with his daughter Eva.
Meet the baby boomers
We’ve had all sorts of new arrivals this year at EPD. Beautiful little Ella was born on Mother’s Day, giving Joanna the best present ever. She’s a regular visitor to the practice and the whole team have had their fair share of cuddles. Kish has also become a dad for the first time to a gorgeous little boy, Jai. He was born on the 19th July and is already winning the hearts of the ladies at the practice…
Exciting times ahead
Exciting times ahead, with investment in new technology to come, from the latest digital X-ray equipment to intra oral cameras, to give our dentists an even clearer view. We’ll be refurbishing soon, too, working with the talented team of local interiors experts at Bell. Watch this space…
Treatment in focus
A question the team often get ask - ‘what you can do to remedy the problem of my wonky teeth?’. The good news is that treatment is a lot easier, and less intrusive than it used to be. Our Quick Straight Teeth™ tooth straightening treatment uses clear brackets and tooth coloured wires, making the braces virtually invisible in your mouth. And we reckon that’s a welcome change.
In fact, most people won’t even know you’re wearing braces at all - and treatments can take as little as six months to complete… a fraction of the time it used to take. With options to suit everyone, Quick Straight Teeth can restore your confidence, boost your self-esteem and give you a beautiful smile.
To find out whether Quick Straight Teeth could be right for you, just ask your dentist next time you come to visit.
Releasing our inner dragon!
True to our hard-working reputation, the EPD team took part in this years’ Dragon Boat Race at Billing Aquadrome to raise money for the Rotary Clubs of Northampton Charitable Trusts Fund, including the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
The dragon has roared – and so far the team has raised over £1500 for the charity. We’d like to send a huge thank you to everyone who’s made a donation or sponsored us. Our team even won the prize for best team name, with “The Tooth Is We Do Not Row What We Are Doing”, although the less said about that the better.
