A Dedicated Referral Route for Your Complex Restorative Cases

We understand that referring a patient is a significant decision. That’s why we’ve developed a Rapid Access Referral Pathway specifically for dental practices — a streamlined, transparent process that gets your patient seen quickly, keeps you informed throughout, and returns them to your care on completion.

This pathway is available exclusively to referring practices and is not publicly advertised.

Why a Dedicated Referral Pathway?

Complex restorative cases don’t always fit neatly into a standard referral process. Patients may have been waiting, may have tried other routes, or may be reaching a point where delayed treatment is affecting their quality of life.

Through this pathway, referring practices benefit from:

  • Priority appointment scheduling — patients seen within 2 weeks of referral
  • A single named point of contact at East Park Dental for all referral queries
  • Written consultation reports returned to your practice
  • Clear communication at every stage — you are copied in at key milestones
  • Full return of care — every patient is discharged back to your practice on completion of treatment

You refer. We treat. We return.

Who You’re Referring To

Dr. Hiren Vaghela, BDS, Prosthodontist, East Park Dental

Dr. Vaghela accepts referrals across the full scope of complex restorative dentistry, including:

  • Full-mouth rehabilitation and complex occlusal management
  • Implant-supported and implant-retained restorations
  • Crowns and bridgework — single units to full arch
  • High-quality removable prosthetics — partial and complete
  • Aesthetic restorations and smile design
  • Patients with a history of failing or failed restorations
  • Medically complex patients requiring a considered restorative approach

Dr. Vaghela has completed his full prosthodontic training and is currently awaiting addition to the GDC Specialist Register. He has a particular interest in cases where previous restorative attempts have fallen short — and in achieving outcomes that are both functionally sound and aesthetically excellent.

What Happens After You Refer

We know that clarity around the referral process is what makes referring feel safe. Here is exactly what to expect:

1. Referral Received Your referral is acknowledged within 2 working days. We confirm receipt and provide the patient’s appointment date directly to your practice.

2. Patient Contacted Our team contacts the patient to book their initial consultation. We aim to offer an appointment within 2 weeks of referral through this pathway.

3. Initial Consultation Dr. Vaghela conducts a comprehensive assessment. A written report is prepared and sent to your practice to keep you informed throughout.

4. Treatment Plan Shared Before any treatment commences, the proposed plan is shared with your practice. You are kept informed and can discuss the case directly with Dr. Vaghela if needed.

5. Treatment Where treatment spans multiple appointments, we provide milestone updates to your practice at agreed intervals. You are never left without information on how your patient is progressing.

6. Completion and Discharge On completion of treatment, a full discharge summary is sent to your practice. Your patient is returned to your ongoing care — with all relevant clinical records.

Not Sure Whether to Refer?

Some cases benefit from a brief conversation before a formal referral is made. Common referral triggers include:

  • Worn or failing dentition where the complexity is beyond routine restorative care
  • Multiple missing teeth where implants, bridgework, or prosthetics require coordinated planning
  • A patient who has had multiple failed restorations elsewhere and needs a fresh specialist assessment
  • Cases involving significant aesthetic concerns alongside functional challenges
  • Implant restorations outside your current scope or confidence level
  • Patients with complex medical histories requiring careful restorative management

If you’re on the fence — call us. There’s no obligation, and Dr. Vaghela is accessible.
